Our Story
A Quiet Beginning
EOCEL traces back to early 2017 and a stubborn question — the kind that does not let a person sleep. A formulator had grown tired of the false choice the beauty aisle kept offering: "natural" or "effective," exquisite jars that did little, or science-heavy formulas that felt joyless to use. The question became the brand's compass:
"Why should caring for the skin mean compromising on real, measurable results?"
Two Disciplines, One Standard
The answer arrived when that obsession met its match in medicine. Dr. Eva Bejko, a board-certified rheumatologist, spends her days in a field most people never connect to beauty: the science of connective tissue — collagen, elastin, and the slow inflammation that ages the body from within. She had been formulating relief for her own patients with the same rigor she brought to the clinic. Where Marsel chased the perfect texture, she chased the perfect evidence. EOCEL was founded to refuse both compromises at once.
Years of Research, Not Trends
The early years went almost entirely to study — not trends, but foundational work: skin rejuvenation and barrier repair, the biology of collagen and inflammation, the mechanisms behind a clearer, calmer, more resilient complexion. Every ingredient was interrogated for its origin, its mechanism, its synergy with others, and above all its safety. Nothing earned a place on the skin until the science justified it and the experience deserved it.
The MARSEL KEI House
From that work, MARSEL KEI took shape as the haute couture of the lab — ultra-luxurious, high-performance treatments devoted to rejuvenation: multi-peptide serums, richly textured creams, refined cleansers, and mineral-rich masks. It is where Dr. Bejko's clinical discipline and Marsel's obsession with beauty meet in a single jar.

Dr. Eva Bejko
Co-Founder & Medical Director
Dr. Eva Bejko is a board-certified rheumatologist who still sees patients today. Her field is the medicine of connective tissue — collagen, elastin, and the chronic, low-grade inflammation that quietly ages every part of the body, including the skin.
That clinical lens became the scientific conscience of MARSEL KEI. She co-founded EOCEL to bring the discipline of evidence-based medicine to objects of desire: every active interrogated for mechanism, every formula held to a standard of proof before it earns a place on the skin.

Marsel K.
Co-Founder
Marsel K. is the obsessive at the other end of the bench. Where the discipline comes from medicine, the refusal to settle comes from him — the conviction that a clinical formula has no right to feel clinical. He spent years interrogating texture, active, and finish the way a couturier interrogates a seam.
MARSEL KEI carries his name and his standard: luxury that quietly overdelivers. He prefers the lab to the spotlight.
Dr. Bejko leads the scientific and medical direction of EOCEL, holding every MARSEL KEI product to the standard of evidence she brings to the clinic.
